On Movies.com, an article comparing The Apparition to The Possession, is persuading viewers to believe one movie (The Possession) has a huge advantage over another (The Apparition).

With all due respect, The Apparition is a decent movie to watch. If anything, Ashley Greene keeps the male gaze in voyeur motion. She is possibly one of the most beautiful young Hollywood actresses. Why are movie critics abandoning The Apparition? The Cabin in the Woods made the cut, which in our opinion is the worst horror movie ever.

The Apparition opens up with an old 1973 experiment. A group of parapsychologists perform a seance to communicate with a deceased man in a drawing. This group showcase the picture, which in the background the male apparition appears.

In the present, college student take part in a university experiment to conjure up an entity. Harry Potter's Tom Felton stars as Patrick, a para researcher that helps to create the apparition. As a result of the scientific experiment, an malevolent entity enters through another portal into the physical world. Kelly (Ashley Greene) and Ben (Sebastian Stan) are a young couple who the apparition begins to haunt.

The supernatural thriller spends too much time trying to establish Ben and Kelly's relationship. We get it that these two young adults are in a healthy relationship. There is not much to the movie beyond the mysterious events. We don't see psychological explanations to how an entity enters the physical world.

Moviegoers cannot expect to see an exorcism movie, or the typical horror movie where the main protagonist must investigate the backstory to a haunted home. Ashley Greene is our main attraction in The Apparition. Warner Bros. should be banking on the male movie base. This sexy actress is capable of delivering a $14 million opening weekend on a bigger wide release.

However, movie websites are reporting The Apparition reduced to 800 movie locations, all but eliminating any potential this movie has in surviving the upcoming days. What doomed a movie that is much better than The Cabin in the Woods disaster? Give The Apparition a fair chance. The Cabin in The Woods movie fans can show The Apparition deserves the praise their mediocre film received in the opening weekend.

The Apparition is better than movie critics believe. We shouldn't care if the movie didn't screen ahead of its release. We lived in Santa Clarita Valley for 7 years, noticing the core of the production backdrop is shot in Valencia, Canyon Country and in Palmdale.

It was great to see our previous hometown play out in the movie. The Apparition is a decent movie with a few problems. In no way is The Apparition a terrible movie. Ashley Greene is movie topper. Greene's shower scene is worth the cost of admission alone. Go to the movies to see Ashley Green in her black panties.

If you are big Twilight and Harry Potter fans, jump on The Apparition bandwagon to show movie critics and the movie studios the movie deserves a fair chance to compete. We've watched many terrible movies enter the movie box office.

The Apparition may have its slow moments and lack the best storytelling, but the supernatural thriller is better than The Cabin in the Woods. We don't care who liked The Cabin in The Woods. In our opinion, The Cabin in The Woods is a disaster film. It is a bad movie with the worst ending ever. Nonetheless, The Apparition is a decent film worth the movie experience.

Tell Warner Bros. they need to increase The Apparition movie screening to over 2,500 theaters. Thus, the extra screenings will help their film compete in the next weekend box office. Don't abandon this movie production, or pull it too soon to admit failure. If Pulse and The Cabin in the Woods can find moviegoers, then The Apparition needs a second opinion.

Support The Apparition this weekend. Help Ashley Greene's supernatural movie reach $5-8 million. $2.5 million box office projections are far too low. Give Tom Felton his chance at post-Harry Potter fame. Sebastian Stan is a great actor who stars on the hit show Once Upon a Time.
